Check if the cable is there. Check if the cable is plugged in correctly on both the DNE and ICE (TX on DNE to RX on ICE, RX on DNE to TX on ICE). Check if the cable is in good condition, replace if necessary. Check if the fiber optic cable connecting between the DNE and the Image Unit is in good condition and plugged in. Ensure that the cable is plugged in correctly. Call for service if you cannot figure out the problem. This error is reported. The DNE cannot detect the fiber carrier signal from the ICE.
